ALICE.NET is moving to a new home! Update your bookmarks to point to GetALICE.NET (apologies to Paint.NET :) I have done my best to keep it looking the same, and I will try to post future updates at both sites for a while. Registered users will need to re-register; sorry for the inconvenience.

I don’t like to say this, because it’s happened to me so many times with so many projects in the past, and because I hate the implications, but - there have been further delays with the next release of ALICE.NET. Some of them are technical, like problems that cropped up when I tried to implement layer recoloring (and the subsequent reworking of the internal layer system).
Sorry, work on ALICE.NET has been delayed, but I hope to have another release ready by next week.
ALICE.NET 1.0 alpha is now available!
Features:
- Load dolls and projects
- Render current image
Known Issues:
- Memory leak (?) eats RAM if more than one doll opened
Please send your comments, suggestions, bug reports, etc. Thanks!
ALICE.NET is still in the works, but coming along nicely… I think. After the initial release and some beta-testing, this page should become far more interesting.
While I had planned on having a custom PHP script to run this site, after careful consideration (and a reality check) I decided to switch to a premade CMS, for ease-of-update reasons if nothing else. And if anyone saw the original script, you’re probably nodding sagely right now. And I respect that. ![]()
So now (once I can pry myself away from playing with all the settings…) I can spend more time working on the program and less time working on the site. Yay!
